I designed and built a clean, structured website for Sewing Arts Centre to support their growth and reflect the strength of their business.
Problem:
They’re a small, family-run shop competing with larger city retailers. Despite deep expertise—especially their in-house technician Martin, who drives significant repair traffic—their online presence didn’t reflect their scale, inventory, or capability. They needed to look bigger to grow bigger, without losing their honest, humble character.
My solution:
I built a simple, fast website focused on clear structure and strong messaging. I refined copy, SEO, and calls-to-action, and created straightforward pathways for users—whether browsing machines or booking service.
The site includes:
- Maintenance and repair booking requests
- A large product catalogue to showcase available machines
- Clear hours, “open/closed” status, and location details
- Interior, exterior, and product photography to add character without clutter
I also supported hosting setup and repair for their self-hosted environment, and tightened their existing logo while preparing a clean file kit for signage and print.
Result:
The result is a fast, confident website that reflects the depth of the business while staying true to its personality. They’re already growing—and planning a move to a larger location.
