If projects could talk, this one would have stories for days. But sticking to the highlights — this project involved a complete refresh: new design, new e-commerce setup, and a whole lot of collaboration to bring everything together.

Holmestead Sports Cards needed a website that could match the energy of their shop and growing community. The goal was simple: create an online store that felt authentic, easy to use, and ready to handle a serious inventory of cards and collectibles. From layout and branding details to product structure and customer flow, every part of the site was built to make buying easy for collectors while staying true to the personality of the business.

One of the best parts of this project was working with Jessica and Virgil. They’re the kind of people who roll up their sleeves, get involved, and genuinely care about what they’re building — exactly the kind of clients we love working with. Their passion for the hobby and their customers shows in everything they do.

I’ll admit, I didn’t realize how vibrant the sports card scene in Red Deer really is. Seeing local entrepreneurs build something this cool is exactly why projects like this are so rewarding. The shop has a real community feel, and the website was designed to support that growth both online and in-store.

If you’re into cards, collectibles, or just want to support a great local business, you should absolutely check them out.
